Vegetarian, vegan or not, if you haven’t tried Life Alive, you have not lived! My trip to Boston brought me back to the city’s favorite vegan and vegetarian foodie joint. With locations in Lowell, Cambridge and Salem, MA, Life Alive satisfies, energizes, delights and fuels the body and soul in every way. Simply fantastic, this fan favorite is packed with bold flavors and whole foods goodness!

For beet lovers, this vibrant dish brings together local produce of corn, beets, broccoli, kale, shredded ‘cheddar’, tofu or sprouted legumes and tamari almonds over a bed of quinoa or short grain brown rice.

Regardless of which dish it is, dash in your dose of nutritional yeast flakes for an added boost. With all the benefits of a complete protein, vitamin B-12 and fiber – how can you say refuse? Right?!

Hop on over to Cambridge the next time you are in Boston, and treat yourself to every savory bite Life Alive has to offer! Stay tuned for more posts on my Vegan Eats |  Boston Edition series. Until then…
