Vegan Eats | Boston Edition – Fiore Bakery

From West to East, I traveled back to Boston for a quick stop to catch up with family and friends. In this journey, I was pleasantly surprised to see sprouts of vegan-friendly restaurants and eateries in and around the city. With a vast array of dining choices, Boston has adopted vegan or vegan friendly concepts – making it easy for the vegan lovers to dine out when not in the kitchen.

A classic favorite among the Boston vegan and vegetarian community is a local gem: Fiore’s Bakery. Founded in Jamaica Plain, MA in 2001, this neighborhood bakery has become a fan favorite with a HUGE vegan selection. For lunch, locals drop in to indulge in homestyle baked goods, soups and sandwiches – all made from the kitchen. From the bread down to the condiments on their sandwiches, vegan options are always readily available.

Not sure what to get? I recommend the classic favorites – or should I say my staples – Italian Maki or Chauncy Gardner with a side of Tomato and Basil Soup. Not feeling a sandwich but craving to soothe that sweet tooth? Opt for their Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie, Brownie or any of their Muffins!

Italian Maki (Eggplant, Spinach, Avocado, Caramelized Onions, Pesto, Spicy Veganaise)
Chauncey Gardner (Hummus, Spinach, Red Pepper, Carrot, Tomato, Cucumber, Lettuce, Balsamic)
Soup of the Day: Tomato Basil Soup with Crisp Garlic Sea Salt Bagel Chips
Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie, Fudge Brownie and Chocolate Peanut Butter Truffle
Vegan Banana Muffins (Freshly Made; Good for 2-3 days unrefrigerated and 4-5 days refrigerated)

Don’t ever go hungry again in Boston, vegan family and friends! Fiore’s Cafe is such a treat for local foodies and vegan travelers all around. And it never disappoints!
